b2evo skin: WheelzHere’s the next re-released/ported skin for b2evolution 2.x. This b2evolution template, entitled “Wheelz (Blue)“, is being released (under a Creative Commons license) for free download. Download and use carries the same restrictions as the original release, namely that the credits in the header and footer as well as those in the stylesheet, are left intact.

This blog template was originally designed for use with automotive blogs of car project journals, but can be used by anyone who likes the colorscheme and the layout…

This release, as with the original b2evo 1.10.x skin, is 100% XHTML Transitional compliant. It uses valid CSS 2.0 style sheets. Additionally, as with previous releases in the “Smoothe” series of b2evo skins, the Wheelz skin has been designed for 1024x768 monitor resolution.

Continue on to the pseudo-legal stuff and the download file…

This b2evo skin is being released for download under a Creative Commons License 3.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/). You are free to download this skin and to modify it to your liking as long as you agree to leave unmodified the following:

  1. The attribution information shown in the page header block, beginning with the text:
    “@b2evo 2.x Skin: Wheelz (Blue) / design by “
  2. The “skin design by” attribution information shown in the page footer
  3. The template and credit information shown in the stylesheet

By downloading the Wheelz (Blue) template for b2evolution 2.x you signify that you agree to these terms. It’s not much to ask, and you can still modify it to suit your site… If you have any questions or difficulties installing or using the Wheelz (Blue) skin, please leave a comment at the bottom of this blog post rather than sending me an email. That way other users can also benefit from the information.

I’ll be setting aside time this weekend to finish the ports of all these skins to b2evolution 2.x, so check back during the weekend for the new uploads. I’ll be making the uploads available as I complete each skin. Thanks for your interest. :)

Still working on it? I really like this skin and I wanted to use it on b2evolution 2.4.x, but I see you’ve taken it away. Any news on when it’s coming back?

Hehehe, yeah I was very very swamped with other things for the last several months. The skin has now been ported to b2evo 2.41 by Afwas, a fellow member of the b2evolution forums. The skin is available for download via the b2evolution website and also directly from this post. The copy available here is ’slightly’ newer than the one available on the b2evo website.

Implementing this on my site in IE8 and 7 and Chrome results in the sidebar appearing at bottom of the page instead of alongside? How do i fix this?

Ir appears to work well in Firefox
